1. ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS
Hand hygiene is essential, always wash you them with soap and water, rinse your hands properly before handling your contact lenses or touching your eyes.
2. DO NOT SLEEP IN YOUR LENSES
Unless advised by your doctor, always remove your lenses before you go to bed, or take a shower, or go swimming.
3. NEVER USE WATER
When you remove your lenses, always rinse and gently rub them with the lens solution recommended by your Doctor. Never use saliva or tap water to clean or wet your lenses.
4. KEEP LENS STORAGE CASE CLEAN
Wash your lens storage case weekly with warm water and soap.
5. DO NOT OVER USE YOUR LENSES
Only wear your lenses for the recommended time, days or months as advised by your Doctor.
6. USE OF MAKEUP
When you are wearing your makeup, try to avoid applying them to the inner portion of your eyes to avoid irritations.
7. BACK UP GLASSES
Ensure you have a back up pair of glasses, In case your eyes need break from your contact lenses. There could be times when wearing your contact lenses are not just convenient.
8. RED EYES
Avoid the use of your lenses whenever your eyes feel irritated or red. Pay a visit to your optometrist and Wait until full eye comfort is restored before wearing your lenses.
9. DO NOT SHARE
Never share your contact lenses with anyone including family and friends. Whether your lenses are purely cosmetics or to correct vision.
10. VISIT YOUR DOCTOR REGULARLY
Your eye doctor is your friend. If your eyes or your contact lenses are irritating you, see your eye doctor immediately.
